iris was founded as a means of giving purpose to our everyday work. Having spent more than half a decade supporting companies like Zalando, Gorillas, HelloFresh and Wayfair in scaling their Engineering & Product teams, it reached a point where the question needed to be asked on how this aligned with our personal values.

The harsh reality is the world is continuing to grow at an incredible speed. There are more people on the planet with less resources, there is more money than ever being pumped into construction and our consumption as a species has hit intolerable heights. The only way to sleep well knowing this is to make sure those resources, that money and this global consumption is happening in a climate savvy way.

That’s why we decided to leverage what we have done for the Tech giants of Europe in slowing down the expansion of the destructive, and pivot our attention to fuelling those working on sustainable innovation.
